Hill Harvey-Wood design intelligently for straight-forward construction.

With a background in construction practice, Christopher Harvey-Wood led the design team at Westgreen, a contractor specialising in the arts and high-end residential projects. Westgreen’s confidence in Christopher’s skills meant that he was commissioned at Hill Harvey-Wood to coordinate two prestigious London ventures: the Balenciaga store on New Bond Street and the Gilbert and George Centre in Spitalfields.

The studio’s construction services include all construction process stages, and we frequently act as CDM, Building Regulation Principal Designer CDM and Contract Administrator.

Effective communication is central to our process – both visual and verbal. We draw on insight from specialist teams and partners. We value traditional techniques, which are increasingly relevant today in the context of the climate crisis, and ensure that at all times we focus on the quality and durability of our designs.
